It was a cloudy day in the city of altena. The forecast for today said that it would rain today witch looked like it was going to happen pretty soon but that didn't stop the people of altena from going out and doing stuff. People walked along the side walk talking on there cell phones while others drove cars. Kids ran around in alleyways and the teenagers hung around the outside of stores. Yes everything was just fine....for the moment. A group of guys wearing black business suits with black coats and black sunglasses walked along the side walk with there hands in there coat pocket. Each of them looked tough and scary like the mafia. One of them had a black large suit case with him holding it tightly as he walked along. They never moved aside for anyone who walked toward them so they kept bumping everyone and eventually people just started moving aside for them.
No one knew were they were heading at but people wouldn't want to be there sense these people came here to terrorize. It took a while but they finally reached there destination with was a tall building. Next to the building was a ally way witch the men went into. When there the man with the suit case got on his knees and opened the large suit case witch had four remote mines inside. Four of the men grabbed and stuck the remote mines on different parts of the back of the building and ran away from the area. When far enough the man that had the large suit case pulled out a detonator out his coat pocket and pushed down on the button. A very loud explosion sound echoed through out the city.
Loud screams could be heard as the building the mines were attached crumbled and a very large smoke cloud covered almost the entire city. People ran scared falling and tripping over each other some people even got hit by cars while trying to get away from the smoke that was coming toward them. The men who caused all this pandemonium put on gas masks and calmly walked along the street like nothing ever happened. One civilian adult male ran toward one the men in the gas masks and brutally got elbowed in the face and quickly fell to the ground and was knocked unconscious and the men with the gas masks continued to walk calmly.
Soon black colored CH-47 chinook appeared in the sky and slowly started to lower themselves close enough for ropes to fall from the sides and letting fully armored men to slide out the plane to the ground. The smoke went away were the armor men were at but around other parts of the city still had smoke. The men had machine guns, rpg's and flame throwers. All the armored men stud there in 5 rows each row had 10 men and as soon as the men were all out of the plane the CH-47 chinook went back high into the sky and flow away.
The people of altena stopped running and screaming as they saw the men appear out the planes that came and left. A black blimp with a giant screens on both sides soon appeared hovering over the city like a rain cloud the people of altena looked up as the giant screens soon showed a man with a black gas mask and black armor. "Greetings people of altena man name is jinroh slay wolfgang. I am the leader of the wolf brigade a mercenary group that was hired to come here. Our client would like to tell your king that he no longer wants this city to be ruled over. Instead he wants revolution and demands democracy . All you people shall not be harmed and we ask you all to please sit on the ground and wait for your king decided on what to do. Your king has 20 minuets to decided." Jinroh said before the screen turned off.

((OOC: Just a side note for future reference. Claymore's are not bombs. They're landmines and are not capable of chemical weapons. Also you gave no description of the mercenaries that have been deployed. I'm going to post a response anyway though.))
Approximately 200 meters away stood a lone finger. It was roughly 10 feet tall and looked to be made of solid metal. Upon the steel figure was bits of black cloth that gave it a more "human" appearance. As though it had need of clothes. In it's hand it held a Claymore, the greatest of all swords. A sword so great that it could slice any man in two, armor or not. A weapon that required two human hands to wield. Except it was no man so it only needed one. In it's other it held a shield.
Nathaniel was pissed. These men that he now looked upon dared to make demands of the king. Such fools they were, to attack and kill countless civilians and expect a peaceful solution. Nathaniel knew the king's answer or what it better had be. Go to hell The Death Knight's eyes held no thoughts of mercy in them. These mercs were going to die today, there was no doubt. Wither to his or someone else. He was sure Leon could finish the job if he didn't. Taking a small knee to keep his position hidden, he opened a com link.
"This is Death Knight 12, I have confirmation of an enemy presence, they are 200 meters north of me on 4th street near Our Lady of Faith Chapel. They look to number around 4 dozen and heavily armed. I'm guessing they're mercs. Requesting permission to engage the hostiles."
Slowly the figured, letting the blade scratch the ground as it ran along the roof's surface. Nathan was getting anxious, he didn't like to see invaders in his city. He hoped they found out who the client was who hired them. Punishing the man would be a pleasure, from the looks of it. Probably a noble, it would take a lot of power and money to get the mercs to do the job, let alone get them into the city to strike. Oh the bastards were going to pay.

Everyone was silent as time went by even the mercs were. Some of the mercs stud there pointing guns at the civilians while others walked through the streets trying to find any civilians that were hiding. They went in buildings and alleyways but found nothing until some mercs went in the academy and found tons of teens hiding in class rooms an rest rooms. All of them were scared to death but the female students showed the most fear. Once they found all the students they took them to the gym and made them all sit on the ground. The soft crying could be heard coming from each female while some males looked at the ground floor while others stared at the mercs while having a mean look on there face. Mean while back in the city everything was still silent until the screen on the blimp turned back on and on the screen was jinroh "Time is now up and it looks like your king has not given his answer. so now i will now use a little bit of force to show your king that i mean business." Jinroh said and everything went dead silent again. The people wonder what he meant while the mercs smirked inside their masks. Soon the ground started to shake and i loud noise could be heard. The people looked confused for a moment but then a red beam of light came out of the east and hit a building causing it to crumble down. The people in the city screamed as well as the students in the school even though they could not see what was going on in the city.

Those hypocritical pigs?! Nathaniel's mind roared! This was plan murder, there was no way any man could justify this as a revolution. It was nothing more than terrorism with a innocent mask of wishing to do well. There was no room in his heart to forgive nor pity these people. People who sold themselves to the highest bidder were scum. People who did that and murdered innocents just for money were even worse.
Pursuing the mercs as they went along the streets, rounding up civilians as they went. What were they planning? They had found very until they decided to raid the academy and found the hundreds of students there. Nathan watched from outside as they took them all into the gym. These men had a plan and he wasn't sure what it was but there was no way it was going to be good for them. He tried his radio one more time.
"This is Death Knight 12: Nathaniel reporting in. I have identified hostiles. They are rounding up the civilians. They are now located at the Academy. Again I request permission to engage the hostiles."
Suddenly the voice of the head mercenary filled the air. The King had denied his offer, just like any other king would. Any man who had honor wouldn't bow down to those who killed the innocent to get what they wanted. Nathan respected his king for that. Now the mercenary said he would have use some force to show he meant business. A great beam of red light shattered one of the buildings to the east. It was an old office building. There were probably people inside. This had to stop now.
"This is Death Knight 12, I'm engaging. This madness has to stop now. I request support at the academy..." Switching off the com link he added "bud don't be surprised if I kill them all before you arrive..." Looking down at the outside sentries he curled his lips back in a feral grin.
The armor clad warrior charged the door without hesitation, his shield held in front of him as he came. The two guards turned immediately at the on coming warrior and fired. To their dismay the rounds ricocheted off his shield like rain off the hood of a car. They stepped back; trying to make a slow retreat while firing. Eventually they both heard the click as their guns ran out of ammunition. The first barely got out a scream as the metal giant's sword came down. Slicing the man in two from the tip of skull to the floor. The wound sprayed blood everywhere. It coated everything in a thick paint of gore. The second soldier dropped his gun as he tried to get the blood off his goggle so he may see; only removing it in time to see the weapon that would behead him.
With a quick movement Nathan kicked the front doors of the Academy open, knocking one off of it's hinges. He took two steps into the main corridor and looked to right and left before opening an open radio broadcast.
"This is the devil speaking. To all the mercs in the area I would just like to say: Welcome to hell and I hope you enjoy the music." Nathan smiled as he put on "Psychosocial" by a long dead band by the name of "Slipknot". It was quite the fucked band but he loved the music, it went well with killing.

The mercenaries were surprised but more surprised when the music came on. The mercenaries were starting to lose there cool until the head mercenary of the group snapped his men out of it by shooting in the air. His men turned to him as he begin to speak telling four of his men to go look for the person that wanted to pick a fight them. The men nodded and ran out the gym aiming there guns in front of them and started to walk the hallways cautiously. Mean while in the city the power of the city went out when a couple of mercenaries shut off of the power. Every building, store and even the academy was now without power. The students screamed as the power in the gym went out but they stopped when the head mercenary shot up in the air and told them all the students to shut up.
The mercenaries in the gym then switched on their night vision including the ones in the hallway. "Well it seems that the guys outside are doing there job i thought it was going to take forever for them to turn off the power." One of the mercs said to the other while they walked in the hallway.

The screen in front of him flickered for a few seconds before becoming an ethereal green as the night vision turned itself on. It blinded him temporarily, there was still too much light coming in through the windows for it. Clicking a switch everything went to a dull red. Nathaniel smiled as the hallway became clear. Thermal vision was a beautiful thing, or so he thought. Now it was hunting time.
"So the big bad mercs wanna play hide and seek in the dark?? I love that game. I hope you're all very good hiders cause I hate to win too fast..." Nathan voice jeered at them. So this was all they had? The mech quickly traveled down the hallways, at upper rand hand corner of his HUD he glanced at the layouts of the academy then had it zoom in on him. Now he had a small map for him to look at. This was going to be fun. Looking around a corner he saw a patrol walking away.
Stepping around the corner, he turned on his microphone.
"PEEK A BOO! I SEE YOU!!" Charging at them, they turned and began to fire. Nathan hoped their ammo was armor piercing or they were going to be "it".

The started running backwards as they fired at the mini mech but sense there bullets were not armor piercing they were in trouble but still they continued to attack it as it was chasing them. One stopped firing and grabbed his walkie talkie from his belt and told the others in the gym that a mini mech was attacking them and they needed backup. The leader in charge of the men in the school looked at the other mercs with him and told them that they needed to retreat for now sense he knew there bullets would not work on the enemy and decided to let the mercs that were attacking the mini mech die.
The mercs in the gym agreed and start running out of the gym leaving the students tied up still. The sound of people running echoed through halls and each merc held on to there guns tightly ready to fire at anything in there way. It was obvious that the mercs were scared as hell and desperately wanted to get the hell out of the school. As they ran some almost tripped sense they were running so close to each other.

Ayame sat comfortably in her assigned room, slowly stuffing her face with snacks. After an outburst with a one on one conversation with the princess, she realized that maybe she was a little bit too skinny. Though she didn’t just want to be fat so she continued working on getting lean muscle; looking a little bigger would be fine, she could probably pass as normal. Raising her hand to her ear touching her com, clicking through the channels slowly making sure no one needed anything. Nothing but static, Nate was on duty so nothing should happen. A tough head and quick response, he was pretty much the perfect Death Knight; Whatever… Pulling out the ponytails, she fasten a loose bun and got dressed.
“Hello Ms. Kuichiki, how are you?” “Good morning Ms. Kuichiki, feeling better?” Loud clicks were her response; there was no time to answer simple questions. Pacing herself to the end of the hall, a sudden tremor shook beneath their feet. Chandelier swayed slightly and a few maids held onto each other; other than that everything was fine. “Calm down, I’m sure it was something minor…” clicking back to her com, hearing still only static. After a few minutes of waiting Ayame heard a clear voice; it was Nate requesting to engage the hostiles. “This is Death Knight 6, do not I repeat do not engage hostiles until I have reached your location.”
Running through the crowed room, Ayame rushed to find her Strike Maiden. “At least they waited till I was feeling better to attack the city…” It was a poor tasting joke to herself, but she wasn’t truly ready yet to fight again; especially without Leon. Boosting her thrusters to take off, she moved through the city going down to Nate’s position.
Moving through the sea of frightened faces, she continued to hear his voice; Do not engage them… Rounded a few blocks away, his last transmission came through; fucking asshole… It didn’t even matter anymore, the students needed to be removed from the building and hostages moved away from any other harm. Darkness enveloped her, walking into the academy; she followed the music.
Movements were slow, and precise. Noticing Nate far ahead of her, she quickly re-routed herself to the area where the students were. No one is here. Carefully cutting the bonds of a few, letting the other students finish the job. “When you all are free run to the castle and stay there.” Lunging to the nearby door, Ayame sped faster trying to find the mercenaries.

Maybe it was the music, maybe it was the crimson lights that filled the small chamber he was in or perhaps it was the gunfire but it had happened. The small switch deep inside his brain flicked.
An inhuman cackle erupted from the speakers of the minimech as it came at it's victims. The cloth bands from it's head flowing back like long wild unkept hair. It's red eyes smiled insanely at them from inside the metal helmet it called a head. The emotionless face of it now seemed to twist and scream in insane delight as the steel demon charged them, it's great and terrible blade in hand and it's grand shield in the other.
The mercs screamed in terror as they fired madly into it, praying in vain that some round would manage to stop it. Golden light bellowed from their rifles as the muzzle flash erupted from the bullet's powder. Streaks of white shot from the demon as the bullets ricocheted aimlessly from it's impenetrable skin. No bullet would harm the devil. It was a mythic beast which no mortal weapon could kill. It was greater than the vampire or lycan which died by sun light or a silver bullet. Nor was it as weak as the highlander which would die by decapitation. This creature could not die to foolish mercs or any other force but by one of it's own kin. Death Knights, they earned their name.
Sparks erupted from the academy floor as Nathaniel tore the bastard sword through it in an upper cut. It carved a great gash in the marble stone but it did not stop the blade nor did it deter from it's destined path. Chunks of stone were launched into empty space as the blade came free. The man's body and armor put up less of a fight than the ancient stone as it cut through him. The massive blade tore through flesh and bone like it was butter as it sliced the body perfectly in two from groin to the tip of his skull.
Blood streaked across the floor and wall behind him in a perfect line and the body did not move at first. It held perfectly still for a moment before it dropped to it's knees and the two halves divided and fell their separate ways, the gun clattering as it hit the floor. The other soldier ran, only to make it the distance hall before suddenly being impaled to the wall. The blade going through both him and the wall to hilt which shattered ribs as it stuck into his back. The man died instantly.
Walking forward Nathaniel grasped his sword and yanked it from the body and wall, watching as the corpse slid down the wall, leaving a trail of blood along it's path. Turning it walked down the hall towards the sound of boots. The mercs were running away or coming to fight. He hoped it was for him. He'd hate to kill a running foe.

The mercs running were happy seeing that they were almost out the building until there happiness quickly turned to fear at the sight of metal monster standing there before them and stopped died in there tracks. "...shit!" The leader of the group shouted before quickly pulling the pin off a grenade he toke off from his grenade belt and throw it at the metal killer and then ran back were him and his troops were coming from. The others followed there leader.
Mean while in the city 30 sleeper stealth beam strikers appeared from the sky. At first they were in jet mode but then turned to mech mode when they hit the ground floor shacking the it as they did. They stud there scanning the area holding their beam rifles in one hand and then quickly held it with both hands and started to walk to different streets looking at the houses and building as they did. Soon 40 stealth strikers V2s appeared in the west. They walked in rows and activated there cloaking devices before reaching the main street. They crushed cars as they walked but it looked like the cars were being crushed by nothing at all.
